We'll walk into the historic center of Zagreb for check out all the best food locations with traditional and modern Croatian food and discover the locals’ interesting customs.
Next, we'll arrive at Dolac Market, the most famous green market in the city, taste some fresh ingredients, learn more about Croatian continental and coastal cuisine and taste traditional local specialties at five different food spots in the city center. We'll try the burek, a crusty puffed pastry with fillings.
To top it off, you'll also be able to sample another of the most traditional dishes in the area - the ćevapćićići, a mouth-watering grilled minced meat sausage with crusty bread.
And, of course, a food tour of Zagreb must include a tasting of the most famous dish in Zagreb: štrukli, a delicious cake with cottage cheese, accompanied by a beer or a glass of wine. To finish on a high note, we'll have some chocolate sweets.
